Knitting

I wanted to learn how to knit. So today while at the Craft store i got knitting needles and i am trying to learn how. OMG i want to rip my eyes out. Its not the knitting thats hard ether, it the part that starts you off called casting that i am having so much trouble with. If anyone out there knows a super simple why to cast tell me please.
